The Lack Mindset

The lack mindset is a sneaky snake (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MchhtofbgJI lol, ok showin my age!) that is insidious in its attack on our abundance. Every time you say anything remotely resembling "I'm broke" "I don't have the money" "I can't" you are speaking from a lack mindset. We talked about "I can't" in another post recently and this is directly related. "I can't afford..." is a lack mindset. (Unless you say "I can't afford a lack mindset" lol) If you are speaking about the lack of financial abundance in your life you are verifying the existence of the lack therefore giving it encouragement to continue. Instead of saying "I can't afford to do ...." try saying "It would be irresponsible for me at this time." Or "Its not the right time for me", because if it were the monies would available.
Everytime you justify your limitations you are giving them permission to exist. This goes beyond finances to every aspect of our lives, even health!! Have you been diagnosed with something? Don't own it!!! Say instead "I sometimes experience symptoms of...." When you say "I have...." then you have it and you don't let it go. Money energy and health energy respond to the same thoughts. Lack mindset brings lack experience. Lack of money. Lack of health. Lack of relationship. Lack of peace. Lack of love. Lack of fortune. You name it.
Let us also include 'but' in our list of watch words. 'But' negates all the positive that came before it in the sentence. It is not a word that we can eliminate altogether, for instance "I would love to go to the baseball game, but that date is not doable for me." It is necessary to express two conflicting experiences. However (see what I did there?), we overuse 'but' to further our lack mindset, by instiling it as an excuse to not do something we say we want to do. "I love yoga, but it aggravates my back" is a disempowering statement. "I love yoga, but it aggravates my back, so I need to find something similar that won't hurt me" is empowering.
Worry is another symptom of a lack mindset. It is an active expression that you do not believe the Univere is conspiring on your behalf. Make a plan, yes, but do not worry about the situation. Trust that everything will get you to where you need to be. Don't fight it. Worry only cements your lack mindset.
Jealousy is yet another symptom of a lack mindset. A lack of trust. Trust in yourself to know that there is enough for everyeone. Trust to know that what is meant for you, will come and will be better than you imagined. Trust to know there is enough money, power, clients, customers, riches or love for everyone on the planet. Trust in knowing that what is not yours cannot stay with you, because it would only be taking up the space in your life that is meant for what is yours.
